Capt. C.A. Richardson is a full-time fishing guide, television show host, and fishing instructor based in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. MEET KENT I just want to stay on the water from sun up to sun down without fighting the sun or the bugs. It’s really man versus nature out there. So I drew some chicken scratch on the back of a napkin; I wanted clothes that protected my skin from the elements and breathed like a fish.

In February 2009, I designed a comfortable shirt with mesh panels on the side and a vented mask with gills. That sun gets brutally hot out there. Now I stay cool, dry and protected for the whole day while I am competing in a tournament or fishing with my family.

Brother of FLW angler Christopher Lane, has fished with FLW on and off since joining in 2002. He began his career fishing the BFL tournaments, eventually making his way onto the Tour in 2005.
